Integrated software and hardware
AXIS P8815-2 3D People Counter combines 3D counting software and hardware in one device, and comes pre-calibrated for easy setup. It uses two sensors to create a 3D depth map for real-time people counting, distinguishing people from smaller objects like carts or strollers. It supports simultaneous counting in both directions and can be discreetly mounted on ceilings in black or white, with optional accessories for pendant or recessed installation. For wider coverage, you can connect two units.

None of the information captured can be used to identify people because it doesn’t save events triggered by the counter. All information is stored directly on each installed counter, reducing bandwidth and storage requirements. Based on open APIs, the data can be easily integrated into third-party applications.
