Efficient patient and visitor access
Network access control enables seamless entry for patients and visitors – and you can manage it from anywhere. Architect the solution you need, whether you want preapproved and verified individuals to be able to visit their baby in the NICU using a time-restricted mobile credential, or whether you need a remote operator to monitor entrances across multiple facilities to manually admit patients and visitors – or something entirely different. And at large hospital facilities with multiple entrances, video intercoms help ensure that patients arriving after hours, when some entrances may be locked, receive clear guidance and timely care.
Smart staff access
Access control solutions keep restricted areas such as NICUs, drug dispensaries, storage closets, and server cabinets secure from unauthorized access and automate entry for credentialed staff. You can customize our credential types to individuals, roles, days, and times, and choose single- or multi-factor authentication. The reader logs access attempts, and cameras or video intercoms make it easy to verify who’s using a credential. The system also lets you know when a door is ajar, and nearby analytics-equipped cameras can alert you when multiple people enter on one credential. And if a credential is ever lost or compromised, simply cancel it.
Automated vehicle management
In restricted parking areas, network intercoms complete an automated vehicle access solution. While a camera equipped with AI-powered license plate recognition supports pre-approved vehicle access, a video intercom lets others call the right staff and request access – and provides a clear view of both driver and passengers. Intercoms can also be used for emergency help stations in parking lots or structures, so people in medical distress can quickly reach an operator. When equipped with audio analytics, these intercoms can also alert security staff to issues such as shouting, unusually high noise levels, or the sound of breaking glass.
