When we review the overall design and the usability of our products, we prioritize the pages that you and other users visit the most.
We use the information about browser and operating system to optimize the web-interface for that software. Pages in the web-interface of the product that are visited in a frequent manner by a high number of users will be prioritized when it comes to reviewing the overall design to further increase ease of use.
We can use this to identify issues that are impacting you as a customer or causing incorrect behavior. This facilitates that we can correct errors as fast as possible.

To collect data about how you interact with the interface, the developers at Axis Communications use the Google Analytics framework. The web browser on your computer only sends information while you're using our product's web interface. As soon as you end the session (for example, by closing the browser tab or window), the data stream stops. All data is encrypted and sent over HTTPS, which is a secure data transfer protocol.
To collect data about errors you encounter, the application uploads error events via HTTPS to Axis Communications. The application only uploads events considered errors.
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States.
