How to install AXIS WinPoint for Windows 95 and NT 4.0
======================================================

  1. Start Microsoft Windows

  2. Go to the directory where the SETUP.EXE file for WinPoint 
     is located

  3. Run the SETUP.EXE file and follow the instructions on 
     the screen.


AXIS WinPoint
=============
  
  AXIS WinPoint software makes Configuration and Management of Axis Network
  CD-ROM Servers simple and convenient. It runs on Windows 95 and NT 4.0
  platforms with Microsoft Network or Novell NetWare Client 32. AXIS WinPoint
  provides you with the following facilities:
  
  * Presentation of AXIS StorPoint units under "My Computer" in the 
    Explorer.
  
  * Possibility to set their IP addresses.
  
  * Launch of a Web browser, by clicking on a 
    StorPoint unit, from which Management, Configuration and Disc access 
    can be made.

  * A Windows tool for users without HTTP and IP on their LAN. With WinPoint
    you can do all Configuration and Management that can be done via the built 
    in Web support in the StorPoint units.

  This is the 1.00 version of AXIS WinPoint.


  Software Requirements
  =====================
  
  AXIS WinPoint can be used with Windows 95 and NT 4.0.
  
  The network support requirements are:
   
  - Microsoft Network (with NetBEUI or TCP/IP) or Novell Netware Client 32
    running IPX
  - TCP/IP protocol for Launching a web browser (Not required for the Windows         configuration tool)

  
  
  Files required
  ==============
  
  During the installation of AXIS WinPoint the following files will
  be placed in the selected directory:

  WinPoint.dll
  Storpfnd.dll
  Storpmnu.dll
  Storpnwf.dll
  Axuninst.exe
  AxWPinst.log
  WinConf.exe
  WinConf.hlp

  and the following DLL:s will be placed in the Windows/System directory
  (if not existing already):

  Mfc42.dll
  Msvcrt.dll
  Msvcirt.dll
  
  
  Software limitations
  ====================
  
  1. The following StorPoint CD software releases are supported in WinPoint:

     - 3.01 and above for Microsoft Network
     - 4.00 and above for Novell Netware Client 32.

  2. Before un-installing or upgrading WinPoint, all Explorer windows should
     be closed.
