NEW SOFTWARE RELEASE ==================== Application: Digital Autotracking Release date: January 8, 2015 Release type: Production Software version: 2.0.0 File name: AXIS_Digital_Autotracking_2_0-0.eap Preceding Release: 1.1 Requirements AXIS Media Control 7.0.8.3 (comes bundled) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Contact Information =================== Please contact Axis Communications for product information, updates and support at http://www.axis.com -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Compatible products =================== See complete list of compatible products at www.axis.com New Features ============ - Swaying objects - Short-lived objects - Small objects - Visual confirmation - Starts in Overview - Camera settings verification - Save displays include and exclude area Swaying objects: The swaying object filter is used to avoid detecting objects that only move a short distance, for example moving trees, flags and their shadows. Short-lived objects: The short-lived object filter is used to avoid detecting objects that only appear for a short period of time, such as light beams from a passing car and quickly moving shadows. The number of seconds is the minimum time that must pass before the object is detected. Small objects: The small object filter is used to avoid detecting objects that are too small. For example, if only moving cars should be detected, the small object filter can be used to avoid detecting people and animals. Note: The filters will be applied to all objects in the image, not only to the ones at the location of the visual outline. Visual confirmation: Visual confirmation is used to validate that the settings are correct, that is, that all objects that should be detected are detected. When enabled, all moving objects found by AXIS Digital Autotracking will be encircled and followed by polygons. Starts in Overview: The selected view area is zoomed out to overview each time the application is restarted. Note: The default view of Digital Autotracking is always the overview, and can not be altred in the view area settings. Use the include area filter in order to set a region of intreset. Camera settings verification: The application checks the camera's current settings each time the application is loaded. If a setting is changed in such a way that AXIS Digital Autotracking is not fully functional, for example if PTZ is disabled, the user will be notified and asked if he/she wants to reconfigure the camera settings. Save displays include and exclude areas: When the application is restarted after saving, the include and exclude areas are displayed on the configuration page.
