Easy to install in hazardous areas

These robust, high-quality speakers are designed and certified for installation in potentially combustible environments and support a wide temperature range. This means they can be installed in most regions around the world. Using Power over Ethernet (PoE), they can connect to the closest network switch with a single cable for power and connectivity – no additional cabling or hardware is required. Plus, they include a bracket for both wall and ceiling mounting. In addition, preinstalled audio management software and preconfigured sound quality ensure easy installation and configuration.

New opportunities

30 years ago, the advent of Axis network video systems transformed the way businesses protected their operations. Now, Axis network audio systems do the same for how businesses use audio. They bring the many benefits of IP to the world of audio and offer an array of features for improved audio.

Axis explosion-protected speakers make it easy for you to get scheduled, event-triggered, and live voice messages to personnel in hazardous areas, improving situational awareness when it counts. For example, you can automatically or manually play a prerecorded reminder when a camera with analytics detects missing PPE or provide live instructions in response to an alert from your process control system.

A flexible, scalable, and cost-efficient solution

Axis all-in-one network speakers offer a cost-efficient solution. They can be seamlessly integrated with Axis explosion-protected cameras, accessories, and the rest of the Axis portfolio and – thanks to the open platform – other systems, solutions, and platforms. They’re preconfigured for optimal sound and offer great scalability for efficient messaging across large, noisy industrial areas. Built-in audio management software lets you remotely update audio zones, content, and scheduling. Plus, content prioritization ensures urgent messages interrupt scheduled ones. Furthermore, because Axis audio solutions are completely digital, they’re easy to test, maintain, and troubleshoot.
