Criterion Zrt. put together an offer for Axis and Milestone systems, which included service and guarantee, as well as excellent reviews, and successfully won the tender. Güntner-Tata’s primary goal was the protection of property, because they work with precious metals (silver and copper). They also aimed to reduce workplace accidents, especially traffic accidents. Several 360°-wide cameras were installed in the area, which now essentially see everything, and the latest thermal cameras were used for perimeter protection.

Güntner-Tata Kft. manufactures industrial evaporators, air coolers and condensers, amongst other things, in its state-of-the-art technology production halls, for international and domestic clients. Alongside manufacturing, new production technologies are developed by engineers from Tata, for the entire group of companies. In a spectacular spur within nearly three decades, the production area has increased from an initial 2000 square meters to nearly 40,000 square meters, and the number of employees from 40 to about 1350 workers in Hungary.

Criterion Zrt. has offered the company a solution that is capable of providing protection to an area that is both complex in its setup and serves as a multifunctional space, furthermore the solution can integrate with functioning analogue cameras via Milestone XProtect® VMS, and at the same time, offers numerous opportunities for future development.

The company’s security service, which typically performs uniformed tasks, and one of its investigation teams, who analyse and evaluate the recordings and take action during incidents. Ever since the introduction of the new IP-based system, the prestige of the property protection area within the company has increased greatly. It is interesting to note that the number of incidents has only slightly decreased, due to the fact that thus far incidents have been widely underreported, because only a small number of crimes could be investigated retrospectively.

In the framework of a recently launched new project, a modern logistics centre will be developed with a 40,000 m2 hard-paved storage area, a 6500 m2 warehouse hall and a 9,000 m2 production hall. 54 AXIS P1435-LE Network Cameras as well as two multifunctional AXIS P3717-PLE Network Cameras will be installed in there. And in later stages, they want to build a workers’ hostel, a shopping center and other commercial units for the company’s employees. The planning of that project is currently underway.
