Course objectives:

After completing the four-course modules, participants will be familiar with: 

  • AXIS Device Manager 
  • Security settings 
  • Settings in plain config 
  • VAPIX® implementation and basic commands 
  • Different ACAP apps for business intelligence and security purposes 
  • What different ONVIF® profiles can offer Participants will understand: 
  • Camera troubleshooting and how to interpret a server report 
  • How to use compression methods to reduce bit rate and storage while retaining image quality

Participants will also be able to: 

  • Configure different camera types 
  • Optimise the image by means of camera setting

This course is ideal for system integrators and installers in the network video surveillance industry who are already proficient in our network products.

Prerequisites:

To get the most out of the training, you need to understand the fundamentals of network video and video surveillance. You will need to have taken the Network Video Fundamentals course, and we recommend that you take the Axis screencast simulation: AXIS Device Manager Extend course before attending the class.
