Axis Network Audio Essentials

Axis Network Audio Essentials is a comprehensive foundation course on network audio. This training is hands-on — Students will gain firsthand experience with Axis network audio speakers as they learn the fundamentals of audio and the science of sound. Students will learn how to install, configure, and operate network audio devices in standalone mode as well as in conjunction with network cameras.

After completing the course, participants should understand:

• What network audio systems are and how they can solve challenges that analog audio systems cannot
• Concepts like frequency, sound pressure, decibel (dB), background noise and sound quality, and their relevance to audio system planning
• The essentials of designing network audio systems, from site surveys and calculating speaker coverage to completing design plans in available design tools
• How to set up and configure network audio systems
• How to manage network audio systems with available Axis audio management suites or plugins for other network system-management suites
