Reliable detection and verification—always

Using thermal technology, AXIS Q21 Series offers reliable detection and verification 24/7 in all light conditions and even in smoke and light fog—all while protecting privacy. When mounted on a positioning unit (sold separately), these robust cameras provide a 360° unobstructed field of view allowing operators to pinpoint any spot in an instant or run guard tour with smooth panoramic viewing. Edge-to-edge technology makes it easy to integrate and trigger other devices such as a network speaker. Plus, they offer powerful analytic capabilities, and you can buy AXIS Perimeter Defender with AI-based functionality for enhanced protection.

Remote temperature monitoring

AXIS Q21 Series also includes a temperature monitoring camera, AXIS Q2101-TE, allowing you to monitor temperatures from -40 °C to 350 °C (-40 °F to 660 °F) with several trigger types such as lowest and highest temperature or temperature gradient. Spot temperature reading acts as a visual aid and lets you see the exact temperature in a specific area. Additionally, temperature metadata enables statistics, follow-up, and process analysis. Furthermore, this temperature monitoring camera comes with early fire detection analytics preinstalled making it possible to set triggers and get warnings about early signs of fire or potential overheating.

note
  • Thermal cameras are subject to stricter export control regulations than visual cameras. Axis offers thermal cameras in both 30 fps and 8.3 fps versions to comply with export control legislation in most parts of the world. There is no other difference between a 30 fps and an 8.3 fps camera than the frame rate.
  • Under specific conditions, some Axis thermal cameras are capable of precise temperature measurements, but they’re not designed by Axis for the specific intention of human fever detection or the diagnosis, mitigation, or prevention of disease or health conditions.
